Seeing Yourself other than Yourself, You have arrived

K.Wong

No man is an island
Everyman is a contigent being
Of the cosmic Self
The cosmic Self is the universe
Everyone is part of the whole
Self and others constitute the whole

Any conflict is internal conflict
It is cracking the whole
The collapse of the whole
Is the collapse of self and others
So should the financial crisis be perceived
Organicism is not immune to contagion

A winning  self is the defect of the whole
A self-winner is a whole-loser
When ethics reign
The mould is sustained
In holistic totality or unity
Self and others are saved

Seeing autonomous self in yourself
You see multiplicity
Seeing multiplicity in others
You see autonomous self in yourself
Seeing yourself other than autonomous self
You see your Lord

Editor’s Note:

Soteriological poetry is a highly crystallized epitome of the religious scriptures. A complete reading of all the Buddhist Scriptures and treatises or commentaries require an investment of time of one’s whole life. A soteriological poem requires about five minutes of time to be read completely. Its value is not to be underestimated . It may be abstruse to the beginners. As one matures spiritually, the esoteric message is unveiled. Unless the Truth is discerned, human perception of the  proper scale of values would be distorted.
