Buddhist Door wishes you health, prosperity, happiness, world peace and harmony for the Chinese New Year!

Since the New Year Eve, China has been suffering from the worst snow storms in 50 years which snarl transportation, strand millions, paralyze power and transportation network , and cause widespread damage and disruption throughout the country in 20 provinces affecting 70 million people. It puts the government to a stern test of it’s ability to handle crisis.   In crisis, good nature of humanity is revealed through friendship among travelers helping each other, donations pouring in from all over the country, tens and thousands of rescue workers staying up day and night, despite the fact that some are making profits out of crisis by raising prizes of basic necessities such as instant noodles.
This is a time of crisis and a time of reflection, which allows us a moment to see through the true nature of “oneness” for all. We are one family in the universe, everyone’s interests is related to the interests of all. When we care for ourselves, we must care for the interests of all.

Buddhist Door is happy to provide information and teaching with an international perspective and social concern, in the hope to bring light and harmony to the world. May compassion and wisdom be with you!
