Thank you for your continuing support in viewing the fourth issue of our Internet Magazine "The Buddhist Door".

"Buddhism in A Nut Shell" Part 2 covers "The Five Vehicles" and "Dharma Realms". In these two topics, we try to present a glimpse in the scope of Buddhism, as well as put forward an outlook of the world from a Buddhist's points of view. This is the continuation of our effort to provide some insight to you for your endeavour in the pursuit of Buddhism.

The "Heart Sutra" commentary series comes to the conclusion in this issue. This series extends for three issues. In case you missed the previous ones, please go to our contents page and look for them in the back issues.

In "Buddhist Art", we present a small collection of Guan Yin images which occupy an important area in Buddhist art, especially in China. In conjunction with this collection, we also provide a brief description on the meaning and background of Guan Yin. In "Buddha's Life", you can read about Buddha's preaching and Buddha's meeting with his family.

Acknowledgement for the sources of some text and images : The images, titles as well as the text in the section of "Buddha's Life" are taken from "The Illustrated History of Buddhism" by The Young Men's Buddhist Association, Rangoon, reprinted by The Thervada Buddhist Society of America.

We hope that you enjoy this issue. If you have any comments or suggestions, please let us know. We look forward to seeing you again in April.
