Thank you for your continuing support in viewing the tenth issue of our Internet Magazine, "The Buddhist Door".

"Buddhism in a Nutshell" Part VIII covers two topics: "the Bodhisattva and the Six Paramitas" and "the Five Sciences (Pancavidya)". In these two topics, we try to present a description on how a Bodhisattva behaves.

The section on "the Practice of Meditation" continues tp Part II in this issue.

"Buddha's Life" continues to the Part X. We expect to wrap up "Buddha's Life" in the next issue.

In the section on "Diamond Sutra", we present the life story of Kumarajiva, the renowned translator of Buddhist scripts living in the 4th~5th centuries, who translated, among many other scripts, the Diamond Sutra from Sanskrit into Chinese. The readers can also start to read our commentaries on the Sutra texts. The commentaries on Chapeter 1 and 2 are presented in this issue. Please note that the version of the Sutra texts we presented in the last two issues was translated (from Kumarajiva's Chinese translation) into English by the Buddhist Text Translation Society of the Dharma Realm Buddhas Association.

There is also an article on the "Mindfulness" from Reverend Eshin, the Director of Zen Centre of Vancouver, B.C., Canada.

Acknowledgement for the sources of some text and images : The images, titles as well as the text in the section of "Buddha's Life" are taken from "The Illustrated History of Buddhism" by The Young Men's Buddhist Association, Rangoon, reprinted by The Thervada Buddhist Society of America.
