Birth

… more than 2,500 years ago, the Great Buddha was born for the enlightenment and the good of mankind.

I am born for enlightenment for the good of the world, this is my last birth in the world of phenomenon.

Enlightenment

THRO' many a birth in Samsara wandered I, Seeking but not finding, the builder of this house. Sorrowful is repeated birth. O house-builder ! Thou art seen. Thou shalt build no house again, All thy rafters are broken, Thy ridge-pole is shattered. The Mind attains the Unconditioned. Achieved is the End of Craving.

Mahaparinibbana

Behold, O disciples, I exhort you. Subject to decay are all component things. Strive on with diligence.

Wearing the monks’ robe is not just a tradition or something we do so that people can recognize us as monks. It’s more to remind ourselves who we are, what we are supposed to do, and how we should interact with others...

Few are those among humankind, who go beyond to the far shore.
The rest of the people merely run up and down along the back.

When the Dhamma is rightly expounded, those who practise in accord with the Dhamma are the people who will go beyond the realm of Death so hard to cross.
