The Road Map to Salvation: Forget Yourself; Remember the One

Paramartha

When you walk in,
The One walks out
When you walk out,
the One walks in

When you see the many
the One disappears
When you see unity in diversity
the One appears

When you appear in multiplicity
the One disappears
When you vanish in multiplicity
The One manifests

To see the One by yourself
The One refuses to see you
As nobody, you meet the One
The One meets you.

Whenever you are present
The One is absent
Whenever you are absent
The One is present

Darkness and light
do not dwell together
Thus you and the One
are mutually exclusive

Auto-commentary:

‘The One’ refers to any Absolute Reality, such as God, Brahman, Tao, Buddha, Jesus or Allah. ‘You’ refers to any individual personality. ‘You’ also denotes ‘Self-centric ego’. The Absolute Reality is the eternal Truth pertaining to the perfect worldview. The knowledge of God is the right view of the world as it really is. Knower of God is the knower of perfect knowledge of the world. All religions preach right view of the world in terms of two-fold truth of conventional truth of multiplicity and the ultimate Truth of Reality. Perceiving right world view, one merges with the oneness of world thereby obliterating self-centric ego and abandoning individualism. Unity evoking harmony becomes a way of life for the discerner of Truth. Religion primarily functions to rectify one’s false mind and to harmonize human relationship in communal living.
