Be the Container of God

K.Wong

Being container of yourself,
You are not container of the One
Being container of the One,
You are not container of yourself.

Being container of yourself
Your ego directs and empowers
You perceive with passions
and intellect
You rationalize and analyse
You perceive only the parts
You are left-brained
You perceive only multiplicity

Being container of God
Your inner Heart directs and empowers
You intuit and synthesize
You perceive holistically
Totality containing the parts
Parts contained Totality
You perceive Unity

Having discerned Unity,
You abandon grasping
You obliterate
attachment and aversion
You are self-rectified
You love
You co-operate
You harmonize
You sustain the Truth
You tread the Path
You live the Life
You make but not break

Editor’s Note:

This poem embodies the communal truth of Wisdom propagated by all religious supreme masters. This is right Truth, the right Path and the right Life recommended by the saints to all religious practioners. To reap the benefit of religion, one must know oneself – your original Self. Knowledge of Self enables one to conceive the perfect world view. Perfect worldview perfects one’s character formation.
