Theosophy: The Sole Path of Salvation for the World

Wong Weng Hon

Theosophy is
Comprehensive knowledge of
the phenomena and the Principle
the many and the One
the multiplicity and Unity
Inseparable they are
Like the waves and the Ocean

The ignorant
Empowered by self-centric ego
Veiled from the Unity
Perceives only the diversity
With selfish emotions and passions
With discriminations and calculations
Prioritizing self-interest over public interest

The knower or Gnostic
Empowered by spirit of selflessness
Perceives Unity in diversity
With selfless altruism and compassion
Without dichotomy and partiality
Prioritizing other interests over self-interest
In Unity
The contigent beings or conditions are in place
With the whole, order and equilibrium
The necessary existent or becoming is preserved
The mould is securely sustained
This is the One
whom we all worship day and night

The Buddhists designate the Emptiness
as the Buddha
The Hindus venerate the Non-duality
as the Brahman
The Taoists esteem the great Principle
as the Tao
The Monotheists worship the Divine
as the God

This is the real meaning of Theosophy
Theosophy is
the only Savior of the world
the Highest knowledge
the God-wisdom
the Eternal Truth
the Maximal Reality

Editor’s Note:

The above poetry is the crystallization of the communal Truth of Wisdom of all the religious canons with the hidden agenda to promote and foster alliances of civilizations globally. The Truth is sought esoterically or inwardly and not exoterically or outwardly. Human personality is itself the Truth as the human body is the temple of Brahman, the monastery of the Buddha, the house of Tao, the church of God and the mosque of Allah. Success is the journey and not the destination. Truth truly realized is applied instantaneously and naturally.

Neo-confucianist Wang Yangming expounds the inward or esoteric knowledge as the unity of knowledge and action. What is realized is lived simultaneously. The phenomena and the Principle are inseparable and reciprocal. Do not judge the Knowers or Gnostics by the cover. Exoterically or outwardly, they are as normal as you are: They too laugh, grieve, enjoy, criticize, scold and so forth. But internally, they are different from the worldlings and are transcendental. The is the climax of spirituality without rejecting secularity.
