Editor’s Note:

Dasasila-s are the fundamental  Buddhist Ten Moral Injunctions to live harmoniously and happily. They are also the contigent preparedness and readiness to undertake more advanced Buddhist meditation training in tranquility and concentration. Without contigent tranquility and concentration, the Insight meditation will not be fruitfully actualized. Buddhist emancipation is contigent  upon  Insight into the Absolute Reality of Impermanence (Anicca) of the conventional truth and the Permanence of Anattᾱ. Insightful Wisdom is the mother of harmony and happiness.
