Karma

According to the seed that is sown,
so is the fruit ye reap therefrom.
The doer of good will gather good,
The doer of evil, evil reaps.
Sown is the seed and planted well;
Thous shalt enjoy the fruit thereof.

Kamma in Pali or karma in the Sanskrit language refers to an intentional action; a force that is generated through thoughts, speech and bodily actions, and is constantly moulding our lives.

The understanding of the law of karma constitute an important aspects of wisdom. It enables us to develop patience, tolerance and understanding when confronted with obstacles and challenges in our daily lives. It instills in us a sense of responsibility, self-reliance and confidence, providing us with a proper sense of purpose and direction in life.
